Kali Joi, Visual Artist

Kali Joi is a young emerging artist whose creative journey began almost as soon as she could hold a pencil. The daughter of multidisciplinary artist Ashley Joi Summers, Kali stepped into the art world at age six, exhibiting and selling her work in galleries and at the National Museum of Women in the Arts alongside her mother. What started as a childhood love for painting and sketching quickly grew into a vibrant exploration of color, emotion, and energy.

Kali’s artwork is defined by her instinctive use of bright, uplifting colors—hues she believes can awaken the inner child, shift perspective, and invite viewers into a more positive state of mind. As her practice evolves, she continues to experiment boldly, discovering how new color combinations can transform the feeling of a piece and deepen its impact.

Now an exhibiting artist in her own right, Kali remains committed to growing her craft, trying new techniques, and creating work that radiates joy, curiosity, and possibility.
